What stays on your device

Your marks, timer, streak, settings and reminder time are saved on this device only: in your browser on the web, in the app on Android.

None of it is sent to us.

Who serves this page

Cloudflare hosts this site and delivers its pages.

To do that, Cloudflare processes your IP address and the details of each request.

Challenge links

A challenge link holds your time, your hints and the name you type. Browsers keep that part of the link to themselves, so it never reaches the server, and nothing in it is saved.

Purchases (Android app)

The Android app offers optional purchases through Google Play.

RevenueCat processes the transactions. It receives an anonymous user ID and your purchase history from Google Play. It does not receive your name or email.

RevenueCat uses this to confirm purchases, restore the full archive and report sales totals.

Consumable items (streak freezes, hint packs) are stored on your device. Uninstalling the app removes them unless Android backup restores them. The full archive purchase can be restored with the Restore purchases button in the app.

Notifications (Android app)

The app can send a daily reminder. You choose whether to allow it, and you can turn it off in the app settings at any time. Notifications are scheduled locally on your device and are not sent through any server.

Ads (Android app)

The Android app can show a video ad when you ask for one, in return for a free hint or streak freeze. The website shows no ads.

Google AdMob serves these ads. It receives your device's advertising ID, your IP address and basic device details, and uses them to pick, count and limit ads and to prevent fraud.

In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, the app asks for your consent first. You can change that choice under Privacy choices in the app settings. On Android you can also reset or delete your advertising ID in the system settings.

The game has no accounts.

We do not sell your data.

Clearing your data

On the web, clear this site's data in your browser settings. On Android, clear the app's data or uninstall it.

Your streak and marks are deleted with it.
